1. Agreement to Terms
By downloading, accessing, or using Deina ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. Deina is operated by Joynos Ltd. ("we," "us," "our"). If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the App.
2. What Deina Is
Deina is an AI-powered dating coach and roster management app designed for women who are actively dating. The App allows you to:
- Define your personal dating standards across 15 relationship qualities
- Track multiple dating connections ("players") on a roster
- Rate each player against your standards to generate compatibility scores
- Receive personalised AI coaching from your chosen Deina personality
- Get insights, red/green flags, and actionable advice about your dating life
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to use Deina. By creating an account, you confirm that you are 18 or older. We reserve the right to terminate accounts where age requirements are not met.
4. Account & Authentication
You create an account using Apple Sign-In or Google Sign-In. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account. You must not share your account with others or allow others to access your roster or coaching conversations.
5. AI Coaching Disclaimer
Deina provides AI-generated dating advice through a personalised AI coach character. This advice is for informational and entertainment purposes only.
- Not professional advice: Deina is not a licensed therapist, counsellor, or relationship professional. The AI coaching does not constitute professional psychological, medical, or legal advice.
- AI limitations: AI responses are generated based on the information you provide and may not always be accurate, complete, or appropriate for your specific situation.
- Your judgement: You are responsible for your own dating decisions. Deina is a tool to help you think more clearly — it does not make decisions for you.
- Safety: If you are in an unsafe dating situation, please contact local emergency services or a domestic violence helpline. Deina is not equipped to handle emergencies.
6. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use Deina to harass, stalk, or harm any person you are dating or have dated
- Share screenshots or data from the App that could identify or harm others without their consent
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, exploit, or interfere with the App's AI systems or infrastructure
- Create fake accounts or use the App for purposes other than personal dating coaching
- Upload illegal, harmful, or explicit content through the chat or image upload features
7. Your Content & Data
You retain ownership of all data you enter into Deina, including your standards, roster information, notes, and chat messages. By using the App, you grant us a limited licence to process this data solely for the purpose of providing the Deina service (AI coaching, compatibility scoring, and notifications).
You are responsible for the accuracy and appropriateness of the information you provide about the people on your roster.
8. Subscriptions & Payments
Deina is free to download and use. Certain features may require a paid subscription, which is managed through the Apple App Store. Subscription terms, pricing, and billing are governed by Apple's terms. You can manage or cancel your subscription through your Apple ID settings at any time.
9. Privacy
Your privacy matters to us. Please review our Privacy Policy to understand how we collect, use, and protect your personal data, including your roster data and AI coaching conversations.
10. Account Deletion
You can delete your account at any time through the App settings. Upon deletion, we will permanently remove all your personal data, roster information, coaching conversations, and preferences in accordance with GDPR requirements.
11. Limitation of Liability
Deina is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the App, including but not limited to:
- Dating decisions made based on AI coaching or compatibility scores
- Inaccuracies in AI-generated insights or recommendations
- Emotional distress related to dating outcomes
- Loss of data due to technical issues
Our total liability to you shall not exceed the amount you have paid for the App in the 12 months preceding any claim.
12. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms of Service. You may stop using the App and delete your account at any time.
13. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes through the App. Continued use after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
14. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of England and Wales.
