Deina is a product of Joynos Ltd. ("we," "us," "our"). Deina is an AI-powered dating coach and roster management app that helps women date with standards, not just feelings. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your personal data when you use the Deina mobile app and website (deina.ai).
2. Information We Collect
Account Information
- Name, age, and email address (via Apple or Google Sign-In)
- Profile avatar and display preferences
Dating Preferences & Standards
- Your 15 relationship quality ratings (importance levels you assign to qualities like communication, emotional availability, follow-through, etc.)
- Timeline preferences (ideal dating cadence, exclusivity expectations)
- Attachment style and communication pattern responses
Roster Data
- Information you enter about people you are dating ("players"): names, nicknames, ages, where you met, dating status, and timeline
- Ratings you assign to each player across your 15 standards
- Notes you create about players and AI-generated insights (red flags, green flags, observations)
AI Coaching Conversations
- Messages you send to your AI coach (Deina) and the responses generated
- Images or voice messages you share within the chat (voice is transcribed to text)
Technical Data
- Device type, operating system, and app version
- Push notification tokens
- Anonymous usage analytics
3. How We Use Your Information
- AI Coaching: Your standards, roster data, and conversation history are used to generate personalised AI coaching advice through your chosen Deina personality
- Compatibility Scoring: Your importance ratings and player scores are used to calculate weighted compatibility percentages
- Notifications: To send weekly check-in prompts and contextual roster observations (e.g. follow-up reminders)
- Product Improvement: Anonymised, aggregated data helps us improve the app experience
- Account Management: To authenticate you and manage your subscription
4. AI Processing & Third Parties
Deina uses Anthropic's Claude API to power AI coaching conversations. When you chat with Deina, relevant context (your standards, player data, and conversation history) is sent to Anthropic's API to generate responses. Anthropic does not use your data to train its models.
We use Supabase for authentication, database storage, and server-side functions. Your data is stored securely in Supabase infrastructure.
We do not sell your personal data to third parties. We do not share your dating data, roster information, or conversations with advertisers.
5. Data Storage & Security
Your data is stored in secure, encrypted databases hosted by Supabase. We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data against unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction.
Authentication is handled through Apple Sign-In and Google OAuth with automatic token refresh, ensuring your account remains secure.
6. Data Retention
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we perform a complete GDPR-compliant data purge, removing all personal information, roster data, conversations, and preferences from our systems.
7. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Request correction of inaccurate data
- Request deletion of your account and all associated data
- Export your data in a portable format
- Opt out of push notifications at any time
- Withdraw consent for data processing

8. Age Requirement
Deina is designed for users aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. Age verification is part of our onboarding process.
